'Shadowrun' is a cyberpunk fantasy action RPG developed by Beam Software for the SNES. Based loosely on the novel titled 'Never Deal With a Dragon' by Robert N. Charrette, co-creator of Shadowrun, it was released during May 1993 as the first installment of the video game franchise. *The player takes on the role of Jake Armitage, a courier who is shot and nearly killed in the streets of Seattle in the year 2050 by a hit squad.
